The PDGM – Medicare Home Health series will address in depth, the sweeping changes the home care industry is facing in 2020.  The presentation will cover the background of PDGM (Patient Driven Groupings Model), the Proposed Rule setting forth rules for implementation in 2020, the financial and clinical impact this will have on the providers and the industry.  We will explore opportunities and challenges of this new system while still focusing on patient outcomes.


Effective beginning January 1, 2020 the Patient-Driven Groupings model (PDGM) has inched closer to becoming the new reality. A new case mix created by CMS that will rely more heavily on clinical characteristics and patient information to determine the appropriate payment category as determined by PDGM. It is essential for EVERY agency to completely comprehend changes and how they may affect your agency. Do to the importance of this topic OAHC has determined it is critical that all agencies have access to education involving PDGM. And so the PDGM Series...On the Road was created. Extend your knowledge of PDGM with this quick crash course on the changes that are soon to come. Understand what PDGM is and the details involved.

She has served the home care and hospice community for 26 years as founder, owner, CEO and CFO. She has earned an MBA, an MS (Food & Nutrition) and a BS degree. After 26 years of operations she sold her businesses and now wants to focus her energy is sharing her expertise and knowledge with other professionals who serve older, sick and disabled Americans
