Shirley A. Cox is an attorney and serves as the Legal Services Developer for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS), Aging Services.  Ms. Cox provides statewide leadership and technical assistance to enhance the quality and quantity of legal assistance to older Oklahomans. She also serves as an Administrative Law Judge for three dockets: the Community Services Worker Registry docket, the Medicaid Eligibility docket and the Foster Care Home Closure docket.   

Ms. Cox is the recipient of numerous awards including the Oklahoma State Human Rights Award from the Oklahoma Human Rights Commission, the Outstanding Service to the Public Award from Oklahoma Bar Association, and the Leadership in Law Award from the Oklahoma County Bar Association. 
Ms. Cox holds a B.A. degree in English from OSU, a Master of Social Work degree from OU and a Juris Doctorate degree from OU.
